Michael Sherman
Attorney Michael Sherman focuses on helping his clients protect their assets, loved ones and legacy. He strives to be their trusted counselor for life. He does so in part by taking a comprehensive view of his client’s situation, considering not only the legal and financial aspects of their case, but also their spiritual, emotional and psychological needs as well. In short, by taking into account their values.
Michael graduated with honors from the University of South Alabama in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. In 1995, he earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa. While in law school, Michael was invited into the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. Also, he was a founding member of the Alabama Public Interest Law Association. After graduating law school, Michael served as law clerk for the Honorable Judge Rosemary Chambers, a Circuit Court Judge of Mobile County. Michael is admitted to practice law in all Alabama Courts (District, Circuit and Appellate) and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.
Most importantly, Michael and his wife, Kathy, are the proud parents of Anna, Grace, Alexander and Caroline. Family means everything to Michael. He knows firsthand the importance of planning for and protecting the future of loved ones, and it is one of the main reasons he has dedicated his practice to helping other families do the same.
When not practicing law or spending time with his family, Michael enjoys training for his next triathlon. He is a member of Springhill Baptist Church, where he teaches Sunday school to newlyweds.
